Poles are special in-game items that allow Juliet to twirl around, and kill zombies in a unique way. Featured infrequently throughout the game, poles comes in two varieties: the long ones that Juliet must slide down in order to safely reach a lower floor, and the shorter ones that Juliet is capable of pole dancing on. The latter are surrounded by rainbow rings, and when approached, allows Juliet to rapidly tap one button in order to spin around, slicing any zombies who are inevitably drawn to her.
There are poles that Juliet can spin on located in San Romero High School, O'Bannon Farm Fulci Fun Center and the Cathedral.
